Powercolor HD 7790 TurboDuo OC Grafikkarte

Spiele aus dem Hause Crytek geniessen seit jeher den Ruf, die Hardware bis ans Limit zu fordern. Neben der Crysis-Weiterführung Warhead bringt auch der zweite Teil der Ego-Shooter-Serie gerade Grafikkarten ins Schwitzen. Beide Games basieren auf unterschiedlichen APIs: Crysis Warhead setzt auf DirectX 10, wogegen der zweite Teil die DirectX-11-Effekte ausreizt. Beide Benchmarks-Sequenzen fordern daher die entsprechenden Grafikkarten und dienen als aussagekräftiger Indikator der Spieleleistung. Wir nutzen die Benchmark-Tools von Adrenaline.

Die beiden Crytek-Shooter fordern die HD 7790 aufs Äußerste, wodurch angemessene Framerates nur in Full-HD und mit maximal vierfachem Anti-Aliasing möglich sind. Wird die Kantenglättung auf 8x oder die Auflösung auf 1440p erhöht, brechen die Bilder pro Sekunde in Bereiche ein, die ein ruckelfreies Spielerlebnis unmöglich machen.
